Sandra Gonçalves

Sandra Gonçalves holds a MA Arts in Historical Demography (2004) and an Mphil in Technical Demography (2008) by the universities of the Western Cape and Cape Town, respectively and graduated in Statistics from the University of Cape Town (2002).

Her research experience and training in quantitative methods includes works in Mozambique, Angola, Kenya and South Africa. She is also the author and co-author of technical manuals quantitative research, including a contribution to the project The Island of Research – An E-toolkit edited Robert C.-H. Shell. Her recent work explores the demographic transition and neonatal mortality in Mozambique.
